Can I install Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, and SQL Server 2005 in one machine?

Posted on April 21, 2010April 26, 2010 by OD

Oracle 9i – 9. 2 Enterprise (Developer edition)Oracle 10g -10. 2 Enterprise (developer edition)SQL Server 2005 Developer EditionI already installed the 9i and SQL Server 2005, with the appropriate services stopped (set to manual). I am planning to install 10g on the same machine and set the appropriate services to manual. Can I have them all in one machine?

I am not sure if Oracle will allow this as it may want to upgrade the current installation. . . . . . . Theoretically, YES. I have SQL Server Express and MySQL existing right now on 2 machines. . . . . You can’t share ports so each database will need to be on its own port numberOh, yeah. . . . . . do you have the memory in your system to handle the load? Not to mention the drive space?
