What is the best way to learn java programming?

I am taking Java at OU and I am having trouble learning it. does anybody know of a good way to learn Java… any suggestions will be of great help.

    Always write code,see examples and learn why it be like that, and make Java API as your best friend when you don’t understand about code. Don’t forget java forum.:-)
