Posted on April 20, 2010April 20, 2010 by OD

Hi,

I am working in a Data ware housing kind of environment using Actuate erdpro.

I want to learn a new DW reporting tool to increase my CV value.

Out of these three Cognos / Business Objects / Microstrategy – which one will bring more chance of job?

I know Oracle and Teradata too.

    Hi,

Business Objects is an SAP company now and SAP is putting in all its efforts to make it the best BI tool in the market. SAP already has BI 7.0, but the reports are not as dynamic, robust, interactive and graphical as Business Objects.

Crystal Reports and XCelsius (Dashboard tool) are also included in Business Objects package. SAP Business Objects is a very popular and successful tool used for ad-hoc and Managerial reports now. This is an opinion shared by both SAP users (myself) and non-SAP users.
