Posted on April 17, 2010April 17, 2010 by OD

I have created metrics and Analytics for my DashBoard in XI R2. I ‘d like to know how to set up automatic refresh for both as now I’ m running manual refresh only

Go into Performance Manager, accessed with the Set Square icon on the toolbar, then click Dashboard Manager, then Scheduler.

Click Add and then select Metric (or Analytic) and a popp-up will display, if you click Choose you will be given a list of the objects you can chose.

Select the one you’re re interested in and press the >> button to add them to the list, and click OK when done. Then click Next and set the frequency you require and click Schedule.

I use this for the refreshing of around 40 metrics on a daily basis and have set my analytics to refresh on open, however i have no reason to doubt it would work for analytics.

    Hope this helps.

    Jamie.
